WE SOLD OUT 4 SHOWS IN THE WESTON THEATRE AT THEATRE CLWYD
AUDIENCES WERE SPLITTING THEIR SIDES WITH LAUGHTER AND IN AWE OF THE INCREDIBLE SET DESIGN.
Noises Off was a side-splitting, fast-paced farce that pulled back the curtain on a disastrous theatre production. Set in a fictional play called Nothing’s On, we followed a troupe of bumbling actors as they fumble through disastrous rehearsals and a hilariously disastrous run of their show.
This play is known to test the most accomplished actors, and that's certainly what we experienced. The challenging set required some of the most innovative techniques used by an amateur group. The Set Designers and Stage Management team pulled out all the stops on this one, and we pulled it off ! we sold out ! we brought tears of joy and laughter to hundreds of people who came to see us: it's why we do it. Months of planning, building and rehearsing culminated in an amazing show, which highlighted why Suitcase Theatre is the leading Flintshire theatrical group and one to bookmark for future productions.
